The Miami International Autodrome will play host to the 2022 Miami Grand Prix, to be held on May 8th 2022. It is the first time Miami will host a Grand Prix.

As it hosts this years Miami Grand Prix, the venue will become the 77th to host a Grand Prix and it is the only new track on this years F1 calendar.

Simulations project cars will hit a maximum speed of 320km per hour. Miami International Autodrome’s average speed is expected to be 223km per hour.

Lewis Hamilton, a Mercedes driver and seven-time champion, and six time winner in the United States is raring to go for the Miami Grand Prix. He claimed it was a “super exciting” upcoming event this weekend for America. He is buzzing for the first ever race in Miami on May 8. The stage is set for an exciting weekend, and Miami will host some impressive drivers like Lewis Hamilton himself, Charles Leclerc and Max Verstappen.
