AFL Round 13 tips and previews

We have expert tips and predictions ahead of round 13, starting tonight with Richmond vs Port Adelaide at the MCG.

Richmond vs Port Adelaide, Thursday 19:20:

Richmond will host Port Adelaide at the MCG in Thursday night footy. The Tigers hitting form now, with their loss to the Swans in round 12 their first loss in five games. Sitting currently in 10th position. Port has found a bit of form after their horror start to season 2022, after their 0-5 start, they’ve won five of their last six games.

Richmond have won three of their last five clashes with Port Adelaide. Most significantly, the 2020 Preliminary Final by a straight kick, to get them into their third Grand Final in four season, in which of course they went on to beat Geelong.

Essendon vs Carlton, Friday 19:50.

Essendon will host arch rivals Carlton on Friday night at the MCG. Carlton impressing the odds in Michael Vosses first season, sitting 7th with an 8-3 record. They will be hungary coming off a heartbreaking loss to the Pies before the bye. Essendon are celebrating their 150th anniversary when they face the Blues tomorrow. Coming in as the underdogs, sitting 16th with a 2-9 record.

Carlton have won three of the last five clashes against Essendon, and are expected to keep the wood as of tomorrow night.

Fremantle vs Hawthorn, Saturday 16:10:

Fremantle will host Hawthorn on Saturday at Optus Stadium. Fremantle sitting in 3rd, have been very impressive so far in 2022. Sitting with a 9-3 record. Hawthorn are currently 10 places lower in 13th, with a 4-8 record.

Fremantle have won three out of the last five clashes with the Hawks, including the last three in a row.
