Carlton will look to continue its charge towards the finals when they host the Giants on Sunday. Richmond will host Fremantle tonight at Marvel Stadium. Season on the line stuff for Richmond potentially.
Richmond currently sit in eight position with an 9-8 record, taking on the fourth placed Fremantle Dockers with a 12-5 record. Richmond have won four out of the last five clashes with Fremantle, with Fremantle ending that streak last year.
Richmond had a shock loss to North Melbourne by four-points last week. Inaccuracy killed them, they will need to capitalise a lot more tonight against one of the best in the comp. Fremantle got outclassed by the Sydney Swans by 17-points and will look to rebound tonight.

North Melbourne will host Hawthorn in Hobart on Saturday afternoon.
North in 18th place with a 2-15 record, taking on the Hawks in 13th with a 6-11 record. Hawthorn have won three out of the last five clashes with North Melbourne.
North caused one of the upsets of the season last Saturday, surviving a 32-point comeback to pip Richmond by four-points. As Cam Zurhaar became Norths hero with six goals and the match winner. It was Norths first win since round 2. Hawthorn have won two in a row with wins over Adelaide and West Coast, they are looking to make it three in a row at the back end of the season.
One thing that helped North to victory last week was their ability to kick accurately. They will want to do the same tomorrow against the scoring power of Hawthorn.

Sydney will host the Adelaide Crows on Saturday afternoon at the SCG.
The Swans in sixth position with an 11-6 record, facing the 16th placed Crows with a 5-12 record. Sydney have won three out of the last five clashes with the Adelaide Crows.
Sydney come into this clash following an upset 82-65 over Fremantle last week. They are aiming for their third win in a row. Adelaide came close to upsetting Collingwood last Saturday, going down 91-86 in a thriller.

Carlton will be very determined to rebound from their 30-point defeat to Geelong last week. GWS went down by 40-points to the Brisbane Lions last weekend. One area Carlton can really take control of this week is their scoring ability, with Charlie Curnow and Harry McKay down forward, they can kick a bag between them.

Collingwood in fifth position with a 12-5 record, facing Essendon in 14th with a 6-11 record. Essendon have won three out of the last five clashes with Collingwood.
Collingwood enter this clash looking for their ninth consecutive victory, following their five-point thriller over the Adelaide Crows last weekend. Essendon have been the one’s to upset finals contenders over the last three weeks, their three wins in a row against two top 8 sides in Sydney, Brisbane and a finals “contender” in the Gold Coast Suns. Last week they outclassed the Suns by 48-points.
Collingwood vs Essendon prediction:
This is a tough prediction given the upsets Essendon have caused in the last couple weeks. But Collingwood are the most in form side they’ve faced in the last month. Collingwood will win a close encounter by 15-points, but they will be challenged and don’t be surprised to see Essendon pull off another upset if it happens.

St Kilda

West Coast will host St Kilda on Sunday evening at Optus Stadium.
West Coast in 17th position with a 2-15 record. St Kilda in 10th with a 9-8 record. West Coast have won four out of the last clashes with St Kilda.
West Coast put in a gallant effort against Hawthorn last Sunday, but went down by 25-points. St Kilda were completely outclassed by the Bulldogs last Friday night, going down by 28-points. If the Saints can win this game, depending on if results go their way, they could go back into the 8 at the end of this round.
West Coast vs St Kilda prediction:
St Kilda to get the job done by 25-points, it will be a tough contest though.
