The Bulldogs sitting in fifth after winning their openning two games, face the 18th placed Fremantle after they failed to win either of their first two games.
Last week the Bulldogs comfortably took care of Port Adelaide 28-9, while Fremantle only managed to score one point against Geelong in a 26-point defeat.

Adelaide will host North Melbourne at Adelaide Oval on Saturday afternoon.
Adelaide got their first win of the season with a 36-27 win over Richmond last week. While North challenged the Demons, they went down 26-24 with Melbourne stealing it late.
Both sides have one win on the board each. It is an important game for both sides to build upon, in a season where both are trying to impress.

The Sydney Swans will host GWS in the first ever women’s Sydney Derby, on Saturday afternoon at the SCG.
Neither side has won a game in their first two, and Sydney are still hunting their first AFLW victory. They would want no more to do so then against their cross-town rival.
Comparing the two teams, GWS were defeated in a close contest in round one by seven-points to the Bulldogs. Last week they got blown away by the Brisbane Lions by 47-points. Whilst Sydney have shown little competitiveness in their openning two fixtures, loosing to the Saints by 29-points in round one. Before Collingwood blew them away by 31-points last week.

Collingwood

Geelong will host Collingwood on Saturday afternoon at GMHBA Stadium, in perhaps the most anticipated match of round three.
The two sides unbeaten in the openning two games, the first placed Cats taking on the fourth placed Collingwood.
Geelong edged Richmond in a close thriller in round one by four-points, before comfortably taking care of Fremantle last week 27-1. Collingwood won both their openning fixtures comfortably, defeating Carlton in round one by 18-points, then defeating Sydney by 31-points last week.

Brisbane Lions

The Brisbane Lions will host the Gold Coast Suns on Saturday evening at the Gabba.
The Lions in third position after winning their openning two games. The Suns in ninth position, after gaining their first win over the West Coast by 33-points.
Brisbane were ultra impressive in their openning two games, defeating Fremantle by 49-points, then defeating GWS by 47-points last week.

Carlton will host Port Adelaide on Sunday at Ikon Park.
After the Blues round one defeat to Collingwood, they were able to bounce back and defeat arch rivals Essendon by one-point last weekend. Port have failed to break through in their openning two games, going down to West Coast in round one by 12-points, and loosing to the Bulldogs by 19-points last weekend.
Carlton had a relatively disappointing season six, but are faced an opportunity to start their season off really well at a 2-1 record after three games and a pretty opportunistic fixture ahead.

Carlton by 30-points to get their first home win of the year in front of their adoring fans.

St Kilda
Melbourne

St Kilda will host Melbourne on Sunday at RSEA Park, in another highly anticipated match in round 3 with both sides still unbeaten.
Both sides have been ultra impressive in their openning two fixtures, the Saints having defeated the Swans by 29-points in round one, before annihilating Hawthorn by 53-points last weekend.
Melbourne got their vengeance for their Grand Final loss to Adelaide, with an 18-point win in round one, before getting out of jail with a two-point win over North Melbourne last weekend. This is a huge game, as one side will remain undefeated and set up their season really well.
Melbourne came runners up last year, if they can start 3-0, they can be well on track to make another fling.
St Kilda vs Melbourne prediction:
Melbourne to win a tight contest by 15-points. It will be hot and fiercely contested, but we will see how the Saints respond to the challenge after impressing in their openning two games.

Richmond will host Hawthorn on Sunday evening at the Swinburne Centre.
Both sides are yet to register a win. Hawthorn still on the hunt for their historic AFLW victory. But they have been dealt with twice quite comprehensively in their opening two games, last week they only managed one goal against St Kilda in a 53-point defeat. Richmond have lost both games quite closely, so a win can’t be far away it seems.

West Coast will host Essendon on Sunday evening at Mineral Resources Park.
Both these sides have a win on the board. West Coast got a round one win over Port, before falling to the Suns last week by 33-points. Essendon were impressive in their openning game against Hawthorn, with a 25-point win, before they fell short to Carlton by one-point last weekend.
