National Hockey League 2022/23 Season

Hockey is known as “the coolest game on Earth”.  It is also one of the fastest and most skillful games on Earth.  The skill set of the players on show have mesmerized generations of sports fans, not just in North America but all over the world. 

The 2021/22 champions, Colorado Avalanche will be among the teams to beat, along with last year’s runner up Tampa Bay Lightning, Toronto Maple Leafs and Florida Panthers.  Edmonton Oilers and Calgary Flames will be desperate to join the list of top teams and they have teams that can shake up the competition.

The season begins on October 11^th, 2022 with a double header.  First match of the double header will pit New York Rangers against Tampa Bay Lightning and the second game will see Colorado Avalanche up against Chicago Blackhawks.  The regular season concludes on April 13^th, 2023.  The Play offs and Stanley Cup Final conclude in June 2023.

Who will win the Stanley Cup of 2022/23?  Will it be the defending champions, Colorado Avalanche?  Will a Canadian team finally take it out for the first time since the Montreal Canadiens did it in 1993?  This season promises to be a thriller of a season.
