The Grand Prix returns to Austin, Texas where it has been held since 2012 (aside from the Covid ravaged 2020). The USA has hosted the Grand Prix 50 times, the first being in 1908.
The Circuit of the Americas is the name of the Austin venue. The circuit length is 3.42 miles and the 56 laps make the race 191.63 miles long. The lap record is held by Charles Leclerc who achieved the feat back in 2019, with a time of 1:36.169.
Charles Leclerc (Ferrari), Max Verstappen (Red Bull), Sergio Perez(Red Bull) and Carlos Sainz (Ferrari) have shared the Grand Prix wins this season and one of them will most likely be the winner in Austin. Other drivers and teams include Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes), Fernando Alonso (Alpine), Daniel Riccardo (McLaren) and Sebastian Vettel (Aston Martin). This will be the 19th race this season.
