The Sydney Kings and the Tasmania JackJumpers have earned the right to face off in the 2022 NBL Grand Final series.

In a best of five series, Sydney will host the first and third games, across May the 6th and the 11th. With Tasmania playing host to game 2 on Sunday May 8th.

Sydney finished the season in 3rd position and made it through to the Grand Final following a Semi Final victory over two games against the Illawara Hawks, winning the first game on 29th of April 89-71, and the second game on the 1st of May 99-87.

Tasmania finished their season in 4th position, and made it to the Grand Final after dropping their first game to Melbourne United on the 28th of April 74-63, before winning the second game on the 30th of April 79-72. Finally, they made it through to the Grand Final on Monday night the 2nd of May, after defeating Melbourne United 76-73.

Sydney Kings are aiming for their fourth title and first since 2005. It is incredible to think that the Tasmania JackJumpers were only founded in 2020, and in their first season in the NBL they have made it all the way to the Grand Final.
