AEST MCG, Melbourne

Melbourne will host the Brisbane Lions in tonights Semi Final at the MCG.

Melbourne lost the Qualifying Final to the Sydney Swans 91-69 last weekend. While Brisbane got over the line against Richmond 106-104, with Joe Daniher providing the match winner with a minute left to play.

It was announced due to family reasons Daniher would be unavailable for the Lions tonight, which could have significant impact on the Lions chances. Melbourne will also feel confident, as they had two massive wins over the Lions this season. They have also won their last four consecutive clashes with Brisbane, who will also need to break an eight year winless draught at the MCG if they are hoping to progress to a preliminary final.
