Melbourne Victory travel to take on Sydney FC on Saturday night, in a game that could potentially decide the minor premiership depending on results, or if Melbourne Victory can secure at best a top two finish.

Melbourne Victory have had a stellar first season under Tony Popovich. After finishing wooden spooners last season, they have already secured a top three finish and a home final and are still pushing for the minor premiership. Popovich has turned this team into a very watchable, fast pace, exciting team, with an excellent game plan. As they enter the final round sitting at 12 wins, nine draws and four losses, which is an incredible turnaround when you think that they came last, last year.

Sydney FC won’t be in the finals, after making four out of the last five grand finals and winning two of them.

The players that could make a difference to both sides include:

Sydney FC:

Adam Le Fondre

Milos Ninkovic

Anthony Caceres

Melbourne Victory:

Nick D’Agostino

Jake Brimmer

Marco Rojas

The Victory start favourites at $2.30 to Sydney FC at $2.87. Remember to gamble responsibly.
