This years Metropolitan will be held at Randwick Racecourse this Saturday October 1st at 4:45pm AEST.

The race covers 2400m, with a prize pool of $750,000 with the winner to take home $430,000.

Conditions are predicted at a heavy 8, at 18 degrees and the possibility of light rainfall.
